The teenagers Yola (Pankow, East Berlin) and Jochen (Reinickendorf, West Berlin) fall in love during the summer of 1961.
But their life together is cut short when the Berlin Wall is erected on the evening of 12th August.

GOMORRHA

A Graphic Novel written by Peer Meter; illustrated by Jean-Louis Thouard

Gomorrha is the story of the family Gessler, who, as art dealers working in Nazi-era Hamburg, profit from rising antisemitism with cunning ploys to acquire Jewish owned art for next to nothing. The first part takes place during the pogrom in November 1938, while the second part takes place during the summer of 1943, when the allies practically leveled Hamburg in what is now known as “Operation Gomorrha”.
